Friday, April 29th OrionNet Systems hosted Health
Home Webinar Training for its members. Clyde Wafford, President of OrionNet
Systems, was the presenter for this particular training. The newly updated EHR
and HIE changes for Health Home members was turned on Monday, May 2nd, 2016.
Some of the updates and changes included for the Health Home
Services are adding immunizations to a patient within the patient module, all
ICD grids will now show a SNOMED code field, the ability to generate Clinical
Summaries from the patient module and the notes module, and The Doctor Note
contains most of the changes for data entry related to EHR. It contains a new
Conditions & Problems grid, Procedures Grid and place for Vital Signs.
Another big feature that was discussed during this webinar
was the implementation of using MyHealth. Discussion was made about what data
flows over into MyHealth along with the purpose and need for MyHealth as part
of HIE. “Not only is it important to have but it is important to have customer
input and feedback for these changes to be a benefit to ThinkHealth and Health
Home Services.” Clyde Wafford, President of OrionNet Systems stated. “I am
please with the response from our members and will continue to work along side
them as we move forward into transitioning and implementing these changes into
ThinkHealth.”
In the upcoming weeks Clyde will be setting up more training
and webinars to go over, retrieving your HIE details from MyHealth and running
through some of the EHR screens to collect data and get it sent to MyHealth and
doing proper testing to ensure everyone is comfortable with using the system
and know how it all works and the best way to benefit from its use.
