The Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program is a federal program that offers major financial support to assist certain providers to adopt (acquire and install), implement (train staff, deploy tools, exchange data), upgrade (expand functionality or interoperability) or meaningfully use certified EHR technology. The purpose of the program is to improve outcomes, facilitate access, simplify care, and reduce costs of health care nationwide.

With OrionNet Systems’ latest update to ThinkHealth in July, a new feature was added in which users can send emails to APS requesting details about their CDCs and PAs directly from the ThinkHealth program. This new function copies the names of the files in question, automatically includes various details APS needs to know, and enables the user to paste all that information directly into an email for APS.
