The board decided to further research
this subject before making any decisions. They want to gather more
information and examine the different aspects of the issue. The questions being considered at
this time are: Where services can be provided by the
candidate? What is the definition of ‘available’
for the onsite supervisor requirement? What is the accurate language to
properly define employee vs. contractor regulations? Currently no rules have been changed
or any action been taken regarding these issues. Until the board conducts
further investigation the current rules will remain. These
rules have been in place since 2009; however the interpretation of the rule has
become the issue. This will be further
discussed in the upcoming board meeting in February. We encourage all of those
involved to email the board and state your case. The more involvement and informative we are will
help provide a better understanding of operations and clarification of needs
for the upcoming changes. About OrionNet Systems OrionNet is an Oklahoma small business
