Case Management – OHCA
During the OHCA Board meeting held
August 24, 2017, the proposed rule change for restricting case management was
passed. Case Management services will
now be restricted to 16 units per year unless meeting new eligibility
requirements. If eligibility is met,
customer can receive the same units as they do today (25 a month)
“While OrionNet Systems is just now
completing the update for the last big change OHCA put out with the three day signature
rule”, Clyde Wafford, President of OrionNet System said, “ my team is already
working on making this change within ThinkHealth to cover this new rule.”
This rule could go into effect as early
as September 1, 2017. If it does that means every client will have 16
units for the remainder of this year. As
we learn more information regarding this new rule we will keep you informed.
