OrionNet Systems celebrated
their annual company anniversary on August 7, 2015.
OrionNet Systems is a small Oklahoma business
founded in 2001. OrionNet Systems has designed, developed and supported
applications created both for the client-server and web environments, as well
as developing, marketing and supporting a commercial application for the
counseling centers industry.
“Fourteen years have gone by
but OrionNet Systems is still going strong,” said Clyde Wafford, president of OrionNet
Systems.
The company took a half day
on the company’s annual anniversary to enjoy a leisurely lunch out at Dot Wo, a
Chinese restaurant in Edmond, Oklahoma, and a couple rousing games of bowling
at the local Edmond bowling alley.
“It was a nice way to get to
know everyone,” said Rachel Bell, Training & Product Specialist/ Business
Development personnel at OrionNet Systems. “The food was amazing; love the
fried eggplant and the shrimp and eggs. Bowling made me realize that I needed
lessons because I was so terrible. All in all I learned that I work with some
pretty great people and I am happy to be a part of OrionNet Systems.”
The company divides up into
teams every year to compete against each other in a couple friendly games of
bowling.
“It was a great time of
fellowship,” said Tennia Hawkins, Sales & Business Development personnel at
OrionNet Systems. “I even got free bowling lessons.”
OrionNet Systems’ employees
have high hopes for the coming year and the potential future of the company.
