Public education has been hit hard in recent years, with the state’s ever-tightening budget. The state’s teacher salary schedule hasn’t changed in ten years, making Oklahoma’s educators amongst the lowest paid in the nation. But beyond even that, the services offered at most schools have declined; not to mention the ever growing class size issue. Though Oklahoma’s teachers have done all they can to continually deliver excellent education to their students, the overall quality of education in the state of Oklahoma is surely suffering.
